Giving Tuesday 2019

Food is a basic human right.
Yet, OVER 821 MILLION PEOPLE in the world do not have enough to eat!

December 3rd, 2019 is Giving Tuesday and the Maryknoll Sisters need your help feeding the poor around the world! What is Giving Tuesday? Giving Tuesday is the Tuesday after U.S. Thanksgiving in the United States. It is a movement to create an international day of giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season.

Help Now

For over 100 years, the Maryknoll Sisters have been providing meals to those in need, in places such as:

Guatemala

Sister Connie Pospisil, M.M. runs a nutrition center for malnourished children between the ages of 6 months to 5 years old.

Tanzania

Sister Celeste Derr, M.M. runs a Montessori pre-school for children who are orphans or from families living with HIV/AIDS that are struggling to get enough money together to give their family even one meal to eat.

Panama

In Panama, Sister Nena Heramil, M.M. helps run a food distribution program to homeless families.

When you donate today, you can help the Maryknoll Sisters provide meals to those in need.
