Sister Felista was born in Musoma Mara, Tanzania. She graduated from Tarime High School, Tanzania in 2001 and then earned Certificates for Teacher Training at Tanzania Teachers & Education Training College, Tanzania and Eckernforde Teachers College, Tanzania both in 2004 and a Diploma in Community Development from Carmelite Spirituality Centre, Tanzania in 2012.

Sister Felista entered the Congregation on January 5, 2014 in Tanzania. She Pronounced her First Vows on September 25 2016 at the Maryknoll Sisters Center, Maryknoll, NY. Her first mission assignment was giving Congregational Service as an Aide in the Nursing Department at the Sisters Center. Today, she resides in Tanzania.
